FAQs for Roller Shutters

What are roller shutter garage doors?

Roller shutter garage doors open vertically and roll up into a compact box above the garage opening. This makes them a practical choice when you want to maximise the available space inside and outside your garage.

Because the door opens vertically, you can also park close to the garage without obstructing the door.

What are the benefits of a roller shutter garage door?

Roller shutter garage doors offer several advantages, including:

  • Space-saving vertical operation.
  • The ability to park close to the garage door.
  • A greater drive-through width and height.
  • Insulation to help improve the comfort of your garage.
  • Electric operation with remote controls.
  • A range of colours and customisation options.
  • Bespoke manufacturing to suit your individual opening.

Are roller shutter garage doors made to measure?

Yes. Our roller shutter garage doors are bespoke and made to measure for each individual structural opening. This helps ensure the door fits your garage correctly and makes the best use of the available space.

Our Premium roller shutter garage doors include battery backup as standard, allowing the system to continue operating in the event of a power failure.

This can provide additional convenience and reassurance if the mains electricity supply is interrupted.

Are roller shutter garage doors secure?

Roller shutters are designed to provide security for your garage while also offering convenient everyday operation. Our doors use robust aluminium slats, guides and stainless-steel fixings.
